INVENTiS - tool for digital broadcasting
All-in-one measuremnt system for DVB-T, DVB-H, DAB, DAB+, DMB & DRM
INVENTiS is presenting a high-performance solution for analyzing DVB-T, DVB-H, DAB, DAB+, DMB and DRM networks. The new Performance Measurement & Investigation Tool for Digital Broadcasting (PerMIT-DxB) is a powerful system to assist you through any phase of radio network planning, realization and maintenance as well as in the quality assurance of your digital broadcasting networks.

Advanced Digital Signal Processing Algorithms
The hardware configuration of the system front-end is built on well proven, PXI-bus based measurement components made by National Instruments. Synchronization, channel equalisation, demodulation, channel decoding and measurements of all relevant parameters as well as generation of statistics and graphics are accomplished in software starting with complex base-band samples. Advanced digital signal processing algorithms allow for robust and precise measurements both in stationary and mobile environments and are independent from any manufacturer specific codes.

Optimized for Mobile Applications

In particular PerMIT-DxB is optimized for mobile applications. The sampling rate allows measurement ground speeds similar to those known from mobile networks. Current configuration supports all modulation schemes of DVB-T/-H, DAB and DRM standards in single frequency networks (SFN). The modularity of the measurement schemes implemented in software-defined radio provide you with maximal flexibility and allows measurements in DVB-T/-H, DAB, DAB+, DMB and DRM in multi-frequency networks (MFN) with only one hardware. Together with flexible statistical and geographical post-processing software and a user-friendly interface, radio frequency (RF) and quality of service (QOS) measurements can be carried out quickly and seamlessly for every technology.

Stationary and mobile quality measurements
PerMIT-DxB allows stationary and mobile quality measurements for DVB-T/-H, DAB and DRM networks and guarantees speed, accuracy, robustness and versatility powered by sophisticated front-end and advanced digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms. The compact and lightweight (optional portable system) tool with its scalable hardware and flexible software, meets the customer’s specific requirements. Geographical mapping and analysis tools for network optimization ensure constant quality.
