electronicIndia 2008 will celebrate its premiere in the new Bangalore
International Exhibition Center (BIEC) from September 2 to 5, 2008.
This first own event of Messe München International in India is
expected to attract more than 1,000 exhibitors from the international
electronics industry. The exhibitors will include key players such as
3M, Arrow, Assembleon, AT&S, Epcos, Fuji Machine, Harting,
Infineon, JAM, Juki, Komax, Panasonic, Rittal, Samsung, Schleuniger,
Schott, Siemens, Taiyo Yuden, Transtec and Tyco Electronics.
Messe München is offering a business trip to Bangalore for
everyone who wants to directly experience the annual highlight of the
electronic component and electronic production engineering industry on
the future market of India. The five-day business trip from September 1
to 5, 2008 includes flights, accommodation in a 4-star hotel, a visa,
admission to the trade fair plus a first-class conference program, the
seminar of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, reception and
participation in the Exhibitor Evening, a guided tour of Bangalore (the
Indian “Silicon Valley”) and an option to take part in the
cooperation event entitled “Germany meets India”. The
closing date for registrations is July 1, 2008.
Business trip will feature business events à la carteThe “Exhibitor Evening” during the opening of
electronicIndia 2008 will enable all participants in the business trip
to exchange experiences with representatives of German, Indian and
other international exhibitors.
The conference program during electronicIndia will form an exclusive
platform for industry insiders with the “Symposium: The Trends
and Future Requirements in Automotive Electronics” and the
“International Conference on Contract Manufacturing: The Indian
Perspective”.
During the event organized by the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce,
experienced market experts will provide information on support measures
for German companies which want to become established in India or
conclude a joint venture. The participants will also gain an insight
into the business world in India.
Anyone also wanting to use their business trip to get to know potential
Indian business partners can take part in the cooperation event
entitled “Germany meets India”. Based on a profile which
the companies prepare for a potential Indian business partner, regional
companies will be specifically addressed and invited to a face-to-face
meeting. Messe München is providing this service in cooperation
with intec.net, the network for international technology cooperation.

Discover India’s fascinating culture in the extra programThe guided city tour, which is part of the travel package, will enable
the participants to become acquainted with the boom city of Bangalore.
An excursion to Mysore on September 4 and 5, 2008 can be booked as an
additional service. With the Maharajah Palace, Chamundi Hill (temple
complex) and Srirangapatnam (former capital of the Kingdom of Mysore),
Mysore is one of the charming tourist attractions in India.
