A new concept in online recruitment

A revolution in recruitment has arrived in the form of online job site, recruiTT.com, an exciting new website for both employers and job hunters. For the first time, employers can pre-screen applicants using the unique online Candidate.Filter system.

New laser scanners safeguard small protection zones and transfer carriages
Two new laser scanners extend the product range of the Siemens Industry Automation Division. The Simatic FS660 SR (short range) laser scanner is suitable for safety-related use in small protection zones of up to 2.15 meters. The Simatic FS670 laser scanner for motion monitoring has been specially designed for transfer carriages.

Silcon wafer shipments contract in third quarter 2008
Worldwide silicon wafer area shipments contracted almost three percent during the third quarter of 2008 when compared to the second quarter of 2008 area shipments, according to the SEMI Silicon Manufacturers Group (SMG) in its quarterly analysis of the silicon wafer industry.

GPS technology had been used in police vehicles a long time before it became available to the average consumer. These items are meant to allow a stolen police car to be found rather easily by simply using GPS tracking technology to locate the car.
