Layout software for RF circuits
Durst CAD/Consulting offers with HYDE 12.24 a layout software, with which simulated RF structures (e.g. filters, baluns, diplexers) can be imported and easily combined with common control electronics. The RF components can be placed on any inner layers of a multilayer substrate. Of course they can also be stored in the parts library as embedded parts with the allocation of individual electrical port information. To check a circuit suitable for production the entire layout (RF + NF) is tested with the Design Rule Check for concordance with the schematic and for correct geometrical minimum distances of all components (also the simulated RF components). The layout including the RF components and the wiring embedded in the substrate can be spatially displayed with a 3D Viewer. HYDE supports all RF relevant technologies like PCB, LTCC, hybrid thin-film and thick-film.
