electronicIndia, the number 1 trade show for electronic components
and electronics production technology in India, will be accompanied by
trend-setting technical conferences and blocks of seminars on the
industry’s hottest topics. One such event will be the "International Symposium on Trends and Future Requirements in
Automotive Electronics", for which qualified specialists can apply for
a speaker slot by responding to the official call for presentations.
At
this symposium, electronicindia will bring together researchers,
developers and automotive electronics specialists from the industrial
and academic sectors on September 03, 2008, at the Bangalore
International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). The main topics for this event
will be: safety, comfort, infotainment and telematics, novel propulsion
and fuel concepts, motor management, powertrain, bus systems
and lighting solutions.
Potential speakers with expertise
in at least one of these areas are being asked to apply for a speaker
slot by submitting a previously unpublished presentation in the English
language. To submit the proposal, interested speakers must send a PDF
or Microsoft Word file with their personal contact details and an
abstract (max. 250 words) of the topic to be presented. Submissions
must be sent by e-mail to info@electronicindia.net by 30 April 2008.
The
Symposium Committee will then decide if the proposed lecture will be
accepted. The committee members are A. Dube, ST Microelectronics; V.G.
Gujrathi, Tata Motors Ltd.; D. Jäger, EPCOS AG; M. Sabarwal, MMI
India Pvt. Ltd.; A. Pai, NXP; R.K. Shenoy, Robert Bosch India; K.U.
Subbaiah, Tyco Electronics; T.P. Tan, Infineon Technologies Asia
Pacific and Dr. Thomas Stange from the German Electrical and Electronic
Manufacturers’ Association (ZVEI). Beyond this, the ZVEI will be
participating in the concept planning for, and organization of, the
Automotive Symposium. The speaker selections will be announced
by 30 May 2008, and the complete presentation must be
submitted by 30 June 2008.
Participants in the "International Symposium on Trends and Future Requirements in
Automotive Electronics" will profit from the opportunity to sound out
