The 2007 edition again set up a record for the number of attendees: Over 50,500 trade visitors (2005: 49,000) attended electronicAmericas, South America’s leading trade show for electronic components and assemblies, electronics production and photonics and FIEE, the region’s leading trade show for the electrical and electronics industry.

Overall, 1,103 exhibitors from 34 countries participated in this gathering, which is the electronics industry’s most important event in the South American economic zone. The event proved to be very successful for the participants: Within the five days of the trade show, these companies generated a sales volume of 2 billion US dollars.

For this reason, 79 percent of the exhibitors assessed electronicAmericas with FIEE as extremely positive.
